1994 – Sports Car Club of America – SCCA Racing School, using a Reynard SF-88 Formula 2000 racing car.

2007 – Skip Barber Racing School – Lime Rock, Connecticut – Advanced Racing School

2008 - Skip Barber Racing School – Lime Rock, Connecticut – Advanced Driving Techniques. Brian Redman's Targa 66 Events driving a 1997 Lola T97/20 Indy Lights car.

2009-2011 F1 Track Days & Brian Redman's Targa 66 Events.  Driving a 1991 Benetton B191 F1 Car and a 1997 Lola T97/20 Indy Lights car.

2012 F1 Track Days & Brian Redman's Targa 66 Events. Driving a 1991 Benetton B191 F1 Car, a 1997 Williams FW19 F1 Car, a 2003 Jordan EJ13 F1 Car, and a 1997 Lola T97/20 Indy Lights car.

2013 Brad had busy year in 2013.  He drove in F1 Track Days with Brian Redman's Targa 66, David Murry Track Day Events, & Group 52 Track Day Events.  Driving a 1997 Williams FW19 F1 Car, a 2003 Jordan EJ13 F1 Car, and a 1997 Lola T97/20 Indy Lights car.  Brad also raced in SCCA Regional Events with the 1997 Lola T97/20 Indy Lights car.  Scoring a race victory in his very first event at Summit Point, WV.

2014 F1 Track Days with Brian Redman's Targa 66, David Murry Track Day Events, & Group 52 Track Days. Driving a 1991 Benetton B191 F1 Car, a 1997 Williams FW19 F1 Car, a 2003 Jordan EJ13 F1 Car, and a 1997 Lola T97/20 Indy Lights car.

2016 Brad will be a busy man again in 2016.  He will be driving in F1 Track Days with Brian Redman's Targa 66, David Murry Track Day Events, & Group 52 Track Days.  Driving a 1991 Benetton B191 F1 Car, a 1997 Williams FW19 F1 Car, a 2003 Jordan EJ13 F1 Car, and a 1997 Lola T97/20 Indy Lights car.  He will also be racing in SCCA Regional Events with the 1997 Lola T97/20 Indy Lights car when time permits.



Dennis Hanratty Jr.


1997 – Started racing go-karts in WKA Road Racing Competition.  (1 top 10 finish.)

1998 – 2 Kart wins, 5 top 10 finishes on the way to 2nd in Track Championship points.

1999 – Tested Formula 2000 car and was also awarded SCCA competition license.

2000 2 top 10 finishes in SCCA Regional Competition.  Finished 8th in the Mid Atlantic Road Racing Series Championship.
 
2001 – Ran an abbreviated Formula 2000 testing schedule due to college classes.  Tested Skip Barber Formula Dodge R/T 2000 car.  Was cleared to racing in Skip Barber Racing Series.

2002 – Ran Formula 2000 testing schedule.  Competed in only (1) SCCA race, winning in the rain at Summit Point, WV.

2003 – Raced (2) Skip Barber Eastern Regional Series Race weekends.  At Lime Rock Park in Connecticut, Dennis was named “Fastest Rookie” of the race weekend. Finishing 7th and 5th in the Lime Rock races.  At Watkins Glen International in New York, Dennis scored (2) podium finishes with 2nd and 3rd in that race weekend.

2004 – Raced the opening round of the Skip Barber National Championship at Sebring International in Florida.  Finishing 24th & 18th in a difficult weekend.  After the Sebring event we decided to not run the remaining SB National Championship as it was too expensive to compete.

2005-2009 – Served as “Guest Instructor” at the Formula 101 racing school, crew on our Historic Formula 1 Race cars.  Completed shake down and testing of our West WR-1000 IMSA Lites car.

 

2010 – Dennis raced our West WR-1000 car in SCCA Regional Competition.  He raced in the D-Sports Racer class and competed in 7 races in 2010 winning 6 out of the 7 events. (4) Wins at Summit Point, WV.  (1) Win at New Jersey Motorsports Park.  (1) Win at Watkins Glen, NY.

2011
Dennis raced our West WR-1000 car in SCCA National & Regional Competition.  He raced in the D-Sports Racer class and competed in 5 races in 2011.  Winning 2 out of the 5 events.  (1) DNF at Summit Point, WV National Race.  (2) wins at Watkins Glen, NY Regional Race, plus 2nd & 3rd place finishes at Watkins Glen, NY double National Race.

2012
Dennis raced our West WR-1000 car in SCCA National & Regional Competition again in 2012.  He is raced in the D-Sports Racer class and competed in 2 races in 2012.  (1) DNF at Summit Point, WV National Race with a broken clutch cable. (1) 3rd place finish at Watkins Glen, NY National Race.  2012 was a busy year on the personal side so racing was set aside for the most part.  We will be back in 2013!

2013
2013 was a fantastic season for HGM and for Dennis.  Even though our season didn't start when the SCCA National season did, we still managed a great year!  Dennis had 5 podium finishes out of 6 races.  (2) Wins - 1 at Summit Point, WV & 1 at Watkins Glen, NY.  (2) 2nd Place finishes both at New Jersey Motorsports Park.  (1) 3rd Place finish at Watkins Glen, NY.  With those 5 podium finishes, Dennis was able to capture the 2013 SCCA U.S. Majors Tour Eastern Conference Championship in the D-Sports Racing class.  This was the first year for new SCCA U.S. Majors Championship so being crowned the first Eastern Champion in the DSR class is something very special.  For more on our 2013 Season please click the following link......  http://www.scca.com/clubracing/content.cfm?cid=51494

2014
 Dennis only raced one race weekend in 2014 racing our West WR-1000 in the P2 Class in SCCA U.S. Majors competition.  He scored (2) Wins at Summit Point, WV

2015 – 
Raced WEST WR-1000 (P2 Class) for Hollinger Group Motorsports in SCCA U.S. Majors Tour competition again.  Since the 2014 season was very brief, 2015 was going to be an all-out assault on the U.S. Majors Northeastern Conference championship.  With 4 race weekends / 8 races that we were signed up to compete in, it was going to be a heated battle to the end.  Dennis scored 8 podium finishes out of 8 races, 7 wins and 1 second place finish.  (1 win and 1 second place finish at Virginia International Raceway / 2 wins at Summit Point and set the P2 class track record / 2 wins at Watkins Glen and set the P2 class track record / 2 wins at New Jersey Motorsports Park and came within 2 tenths of a second shy of setting a new P2 class track record.)  With those fantastic results Dennis has been crowned the 2015 SCCA U.S Majors Tour Northeastern Conference Champion.  His second Northeastern Conference Championship in 3 years.

2016 – Dennis will be driving for Krugspeed Racing piloting their Lotus Exige in the TC Class of the Pirelli World Challenge Series.  Krugspeed has a long history of great car preparation and race winning.  Dennis looks to carry on that tradition for them in the PWC for 2016.  Dennis will also be racing our WEST WR-1000 (P2 Class) for Hollinger Group Motorsports in SCCA U.S. Majors Tour competition again. He will be racing in the Northeastern Conference championship when time permits with his pro TC class schedule in the PWC.
